Remote Work is Inevitable, but it Can be Better.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all who celebrate. I am not one of those people - although I will gladly use any excuse to eat chocolate.
Along those lines, I recently posted on LinkedIn (connect with me as I put great content on there) about how I believe a manager should love her team. Not love like a spouse, but love as we should love other humans.
Most people were supportive, but others pushed back that it was business. I wasn’t surprised by that, but I do think we need to get away from the “it’s just business” mindset and move towards more solid relationships.
Feel free to share your thoughts.

How do you support professional development and growth within your team?
I worry that I am killing your inbox - which I know none of us needs. Please let me know if it gets to be too much.
I may send some emails in the next few weeks asking for ways I can make this community more valuable. I have ideas, but I want to gauge interest.
My ask: this community needs to grow so we can really start to make a difference. Please share with other managers and also consider signing up for the paid site. It is really reasonable considering the content I share and the more support I get, the more I can offer.
Thanks for being a part of the community. Go be a Great Manager.
