In today's corporate landscape, trust in big business has reached alarmingly low levels. A recent Bloomberg article delves into the factors contributing to this decline, highlighting that only 40% of younger workers hold a somewhat positive view of capitalism. This erosion of trust is not just between individuals and organizations but extends to the very fabric of our economic system.

As middle managers, it's crucial to recognize that while organizations may not prioritize rebuilding this trust, the onus falls on us to foster trust within our teams. Trust between individuals can still flourish, even when trust in the broader organization wanes.
